Quadrus® EZ simplifies 2D reading
The Quadrus EZ high speed imager provides an easy, integrated decoding solution for linear, stacked, and 2D symbols.

Specializing in reading low contrast applications, the Quadrus EZ decodes symbols directly marked by dot peen, laser etch, chemical etch, ink jet, and thermal transfer that are applied to materials such as metal, plastic, rubber, and glass.

Quadrus DPM Version Available
Announcing the new Quadrus EZ DPM imager, optimized for low contrast direct part mark reading. The even illumination from the light diffuser and unique LED array allows easy decoding of the symbols directly marked by dot peen, laser etch and chemical etch that are applied to materials such as metal, plastic, rubber and glass.

Field of View Locator:
A red "X" visually identifies the field of view center, allowing fast and accurate symbol placement.  No external monitoring equipment is required.

EZ Button:
» Enables locator pattern
» Enables the calibrate mode
» Enable decodes/seconds mode
» Defaults the scanner

This simplifies initial setup process and allows the scanner to be configured directly on the line, without the aid of a host terminal.

External Focal Range:
Quadrus EZ offers four optical versions, adjustable from 2 to 10 inches.  Additional focal points and field of views can be achieved by attaching an analog RS-170 progressive scan camera to the unit.

Dynamic Reading:
High decode speeds allow the Quadrus EZ to decode moving symbols, regardless of orientation, at speeds in excess of 30-60 reads/second.

USB & Ethernet Connectivity:
Embedded USB and Ethernet protocols are available for high speed data and image transfer.

Video Input/Output:
Quadrus EZ includes separate camera inputs and output ports.  This allows standard analog RS-170 cameras to be used, and live video feed to view images.  Adding a camera can expand the optical flexibility to increase focal ranges, or be used where there may be size constraints.
